If you see an item you’d like to try on in NYC, you can schedule a styling appointment in the original Dorothy’s Kips Bay studio. This appointment will include try-ons for all items you are interested in, as well as personalized pulls based on your product needs and sizing. There is a nonrefundable fee of $105 for appointments that will be processed at the time of booking. All items purchased in appointments or as a result of an in-person try on are final sale. Studio Dorothy does not do holds under any circumstances. We want to make sure everyone shops with us can try on our full selection! We know that choosing a wedding dress is a big decision, so we recommend that you have a strong idea of what you are looking for prior to your appointment, whether that be through online research or from in-person try-ons. We want you to be ready to say yes to your dream vintage Vera Wang gown or archive Prada mini when you find it!

Appointments are one hour, and will end at the scheduled time regardless of client’s arrival. Clients may bring up to three guests. All clients should arrive without makeup, food or drink aside from water. Guests of the client may not bring food or drink to the studio aside from water. Studio Dorothy reserves the right to refuse service to guests who arrive wearing makeup without refunding the appointment fee.
