What is your return policy?

All items under $500 and accessories including veils are FINAL SALE. Apparel shipped to client who is unable to come to Studio Dorothy for an appointment and that is over $500 is returnable within 3 days from the item’s delivery with a 5% restocking fee. Return shipping rates apply, and the item must be returned in the exact condition it was received in. All items purchased in person are FINAL SALE, as well as all items purchased online after an in-person try on. Every item is rare and thoughtfully selected. Vintage items may have slight imperfections due to age and previous wear. Please appreciate these items for their character.

What are shipping options?

Studio Dorothy offers $25 ground shipping nationwide, $100 rush shipping, and free local pickup in Brooklyn. We are not responsible for items being lost in shipment, nor when items are delivered via tracking but item is not found by recipient. Once the item has left our facility, it is in the hands of the post carrier and all following action will be the customer’s responsibility. If for any reason a package is returned to our facility (incorrect address/unclaimed/etc) the shipping fee will have to be paid again in order to get the package sent out again.

At this time, Studio Dorothy only ships within the USA.

If I love a dress in my appointment but I’m not ready to buy, can I pay for you to hold it for me?

Studio Dorothy does not do holds under any circumstances. We want to make sure everyone shops with us can try on our full selection! We know that choosing a wedding dress is a big decision, so we recommend that you have a strong idea of what you are looking for prior to your appointment, whether that be through online research or from in-person try-ons. We want you to be ready to say yes to your dream vintage Vera Wang gown or archive Prada mini when you find it!
